Health & Safety Requirements

Vendors must comply with all local and state health regulations.

Copy of current Health Department Permit attached

Proof of local permits and business licenses attached

Proof of liability insurance attached

Vendors are responsible for all local/state required licenses or permits, follow state fire codes, and Kentucky sales tax requirements.

Fees

Fees must be paid in full by June 1, 2026, if selected.

Food vendor fee (includes electric and water if needed): $800

Optional Additional 10x10 tent fee (vendor must provide and have approval from Hopkins County Fair - Only one tent per vendor): $100

Rules & Agreement

● Vendors must operate during all required fair hours unless approved otherwise.

● Setup times and locations will be assigned by fair management.

● Vendors must respect other vendors.

● Vendors may only have one vehicle inside the fairgrounds. Any additional non-permitted vehicles brought in by vendors will be towed at the vendor’s expense. One personal vehicle allowed inside the fairgrounds gate with an official permit. No vehicles in the vendor area after 4:45 PM.

● Vendors are responsible for cleanliness and removal of all trash/debris from their booth nightly.

● Hopkins County Fair is not responsible for loss of revenue due to weather.

● No refunds after acceptance unless the fair is canceled.

Food Agreement

To honor existing carnival agreements, the following items are strictly prohibited:
Cotton candy, pizza, funnel cakes, caramel/candy apples, corndogs, popcorn
Vendors may not sell variations or substantially similar items. Determination of similarity is at the discretion of fair management.
